Birthday Afternoon at the Park

An amazing playground was built in Pocatello about a year ago. This is not any old playground...it is an all inclusive playground for children and adults of all abilities. The playground was inspired by an amazing family who's daughter, Brooklyn, has Spina Bifida. There were countless fundraising events held and the whole city came together to make this playground happen.
We love going to Brooklyn's playground. It is perfect for Deacon because he can run everywhere on the smooth, flat surfaces. There are ramps so he can walk up to every slide and there are tons of sensory activities. Basically it has everything Deacon would ever want!
It was a beautiful day on Deacon's birthday so we bundled him up and headed to the park.
I literally cannot get over Deacon's cheesy face in this picture!
This particular day there were tons of kids screaming while we were there. Deacon wasn't shy and joined right in!
He loves the bells!
We had such a fun afternoon with our birthday boy. That night we took Deacon to get frozen yogurt...his favorite! It was a perfect day!
