6 Weeks

Despite my protests, my baby boy is growing and getting bigger by the second...literally! Our poor little guy had to have his tongue clipped AGAIN so we had him weighed at the doctor and he now weighs 11 pounds, 4 ounces and is in the 70th percentile! No wonder his 0-3 month clothes are getting snug!

We fall in love with this boy more and more every day. He is getting quite the little personality and it melts our hearts! His biggest accomplishment over the last couple of days is that he has been sleeping 7-8 hours straight at night! He is scoring some major brownie points with me! Since he is sleeping through the night he has been staying awake for longer periods during the day and he loves to kick his arms and legs on the floor. He loves to talk and have "conversations" with mom and dad. His smiles are becoming more frequent and they are definitatly purposful, which we are loving!

Some other things Deacon is loving are his baths, infant massage, and his hands! Tummy time has now turned into hand sucking time.

He had his first major "blow-out" on his 6 week birthday, which ended up all over mom and then he proceeded to pee all over dad while being changed! It was pretty awesome to say the least!

We are loving every milestone but wishing time would slow down. We love you Deacon!
